Marc Paré continues to build up his name within the world of windsurfing with yet a new success to add in his already extensive record list despite he is only 21 years old. This time he was able to get his maiden title in an international premier class, becoming nothing less than IFCA Wave European Champion in an event that was attended by many world-class athletes in Denmark.

Using the small break within the PWA calendar, that won't see further action after Tenerife until Sylt, Paré headed north take part at the Cold Hawaii Event, organized by the International Funboard Class Association.

After clinching two promising results in the first two rounds of the PWA season, Paré confirmed from the early stages  of the event the great shape he is currently in. Thanks to a great sailing Paré quickly moved up in the elimination ladders while leaving impressive high wave scores and double forward rotations. During the opening day winds kicked properly at Hanstholm beach, what made up for a great day of competition with all the sailors being able to display all their tricks. From all of them emerged Marc Paré's figure, anybody could match his level so the youngster took the win in the Single elimination beating Julian Salmonn in the final.

Victorious after the Single, Paré didn't have to join the competition again until the final of the double elimination, where the Spaniard would face Leon Jamaer. There was no need to run a second final, Paré remained unbeaten thanks to another outstanding performance in which he got over the 30 points barrier against the 23,98 from his rival.

At only 21 years old, Paré was crowned new European Wave Champion after an impressive performance in Denmark, where he won every single heat he competed in. This achievement pays off all the efforts and hard work Paré has been doing throughout the last five years to stablish himself within the elite of the sport.

Next goal for Paré will be to try to keep up this amazing level at the upcoming PWA event, which will be the 3rd of the calendar in two weeks time in Sylt, Germany.
